So… I’m going out of town this weekend on this retreat with the CU, so don’t expect another blog from me til Monday, at the earliest. BUT, hopefully, on Monday, I’ll have some good stories for you.
Ok, lets see…. First off, the video I posted in the last post has become something of a legend in our flat. We’re already far past 600 hits on YouTube.com, which is ridiculous considering its only been up for two days! A lot of friends on Facebook (yay!) have commented quite positively, so that made us all happy. However, things got more exciting when we got an email from the company who actually developed the SuperPoke Application on Facebook (yes… the *company* contacted us on YouTube) and told us that the video is quite popular around their offices and would we like some T-Shirts. So Slide.com is sending us T-Shirts for our Superpoke Song! Haha, this really is quite entertaining.
Anyway, on a different note, school continues on like it always has. I have to do another scene in my acting class, but this time its Shakespeare and its just with one other person. So I’m doing my scene (Act II, Scene 2 of MACBETH) with this Canadian girl Emma. And I get to show the world my frantic, paranoid, evil side as I attempt to do justice to the part of Macbeth. *Ahem* Wish me luck. Other than that, its mostly just essays, so next week should be a nice busy week and I’ll get to do all kinds of homework… It’ll be something of a change!
So I went to the doctor’s office yesterday, because my tonsils feel like someone put them through a meat grinder. Anyway, it was kind of funny because I already have really big tonsils, so the fact that they are swollen now has got to be kind of a frightening thing for a nurse to look at. Anyway, she asks me to open my mouth so she can look at them, and I figured I should probably inform her that they’re already quite large tonsils, and that they are even bigger now. So she looks into my throat, and then pulls the light out and looks at me with this concerned look on her face and says, “Um… How big are they normally?” I had no idea what to say, and I was trying hard not too laugh. Its not every day you shock the nurse with your abnormally large tonsils. Anyway, she wrote me a prescription so I gotta go get that filled today. Which means I should probably go get in the shower.
Alright, well that’s that. OH, but check this out, I think we might go down to

Abnormally large tonsils? Maybe Dr. Eve can help you with that.
